by Simon inmy father died a couple of months ago.
he'd been ill for some time and had many health scares and heart troubles over the years but always managed to keep on going.
then one time he didn't.. i'm glad i got to know him again and spend some more time with him after so many years missed because of the wts but those years will always be lost forever.

Material such as the film at the end of this years convention confirms that I was right to take my kids out the religion
by jambon1 init’s quite affirming to see the horrific material that they’re serving up at the convention this year.
aside from blatant homophobia, the scenes at the end of the convention that are discussed on another thread stoop to new levels of fear mongering.
it seems to occur to nobody inside the organisation that this kind of material could trigger fear, deprsssion, anxiety, stress.

Bow and arrow Jesus will be a big hit at the convention and he will be the topic of discussion for a couple of weeks until the Jdubs get back to the meetings and they are lulled asleep again with the boredom.
This video will just then drift to the back of the Dubbiles minds like the bunker video.
I wonder what the Borg sill do next year to top this year? Now the Dubbies will come to expect even more scary productions.

The monstrosity of the Watchtower Publishing House needs to crash and burn. I don't think that is going to happen no matter how much negative press they receive unless a bunch of elders or some of the 8 popes get charged with covering up the pedophile problem they have.
The JDubs are just going to say that all of the negative press is from apostates and they will not believe or watch the programs. No doubt the PIMO's will watch but not the hardcore JDubs because they would feel guilty.
The truth coming out about the two witness rule will really slow down having worldly people join the cult. They still may have a 1% growth just because of the JDubs having babies and the baptizing of children. The Borg may even encourage more childbirths so that they are more people to help educate the billions of resurrected people just around the corner.

If only JDubs were truthful with their Bible students
by Sour Grapes injdubs are the masters of deception.
what would you do if you were studying with the jdubs and they told you that when you get the truth, become a jdub, and join the borg that every single person in the world is bad association?
in fact, you will have to be careful because even some in the congregation can also be bad association and you have to be careful around them if they have too much facial hair or if the sisters' skirts are a little too short or if the brother pants are a little too tight.. and you will find such delight in not dwelling upon the life that you have now which is unimportant because this system of things is going to be destroyed so there is no need to get a good education or to worry about your problems.. you just need to focus on the paradise earth that is just around the corner..

I agree. Dry, monotone, boring, and insincere.

144000 The numbers don't add up
by LevelThePlayingField inin 1935 there were 63,146 who attended the memorial and 52,465 partook.
(proclaimers book page 717).
according to the bible teach book on page 78, it says, “since the days of the apostles, god has been selecting faithful christians in order to complete the number 144,000”.

There is no room in God's true organization for an individual to think and reason things out. JDubs let the 8 popes figure things out for them and the JDubs count it a blessing to be a bobblehead.

Life in Paradise
by Sour Grapes inso we all survive the great tribulation and now as the dead bodies of 99.9% of the world's population begin to stink up the place, the bodies become bloated and the flesh begins to fall off of the bones what happens when the elders tell us to grab a shovel and haul the corpses to a mass grave site for burial or perhaps a mass cremation and you tell them that you will not bury dead bodies.. what will the elders do?
(i guess they are princes now since we are on the other side of the gt) will they haul the person into the back room of the candlelit kingdumb haul for a judicial meeting?
if the person is unrepentant and doesn't follow direction from god will they be disfellowshipped or forced to move to a colony for troublemakers?

So we all survive the Great Tribulation and now as the dead bodies of 99.9% of the world's population begin to stink up the place, the bodies become bloated and the flesh begins to fall off of the bones what happens when the elders tell us to grab a shovel and haul the corpses to a mass grave site for burial or perhaps a mass cremation and you tell them that you will not bury dead bodies.
Perhaps Jesus with his bow and arrow will just shoot them dead.
What happens when a survivor claims the rights to a house that he had his sites on for several years while going from door to door and one of the elders tells the person to exit the house because it was his? What happens if the person puts up an argument? I don't think that anyone will be able to override the wishes of an elder or a ministerial servant.
I have no desire to live in a paradise run by elders. It will be a living hell.

I am sure that this last video for the day will be the highlight of the convention. Well, at least somehow the JDubs got out of the basement bunker with the doors blocked by soldiers. So they went from hiding to proudly being in the middle of an open field like they are begging to be found.
I don't think the soldiers have a chance against Jesus with his bow and arrow.
I feel sorry for the children who have to watch the video. They will be scared and emotionally scarred.
The Borg is getting better at their fearmongering and pulling the heartstring videos.

"World conditions have never been as bad as they are now"
by Sour Grapes ini went to a funeral yesterday and ran into a jdub.
of course, he approached me and it didn't take more than a minute into the conversation for him to get into the jdub gloom and doom mode.
he said that world conditions have never been as bad as they are now.. i looked straight into his eyes and said, "i think that world conditions were a lot worse during world war two.".

So which religious members get happier when there is bad news? They almost have a religious orgasm when people die coupled with a dash of destruction.
